Fox Observatory will be open as usual to the public on Saturday April 25. In celebration of International Astronomy Day we will have special efforts in members bringing telescopes to show the night sky plus some imagers and other activities inside our observatory where we will show videos and do some hands on activities for children. We might also have some Spectroscopy done in a telescope outside the observatory to explain how we know what we know about stars and galaxies using a basic 8 inch telescope and a Low Resolution grating to extract the spectra of stars.
