Northern Virginia Astronomy Day Celebration

The Northern Virginia Astronomy Club (NOVAC) will be celebrating Astronomy Day on May 11 from 3-11 pm at C.M. Crockett Park in Midland, VA. The event will include activities suitable for all ages. Join us and share the excitement of observing our universe through the many telescopes and specialized equipment operated by club members. Enjoy lectures by noted professionals in the field, including talks on the Parker Probe mission to the Sun, an update on New Horizons’ Ultima Thule flyby, and a special presentation entitled “Moon dust” in recognition of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission.
