Idaho Star Party
The Boise Astronomical Society will be hosting the 2016 Idaho Star Party at Bruneau Dunes State Park and Observatory, 20 minutes south of Mountain Home, Idaho. Our guest speaker will be discussing the 2017 solar eclipse as well as previous solar eclipses that he has attended over the years. We will host our “world famous” star-b-q dinner on Saturday evening, along with a children’s program during the day. We enjoy beautiful clear, dark skies at night in Idaho, but also full service campsites in the Eagle Cove campground at the park, including water and electrical hookups at all sites. For campsite reservations and star party registrations, contact our ISP Coordinator, Jim Sacht, at jim.2016.isp@gmail.com. For more information, visit our star party website at isp.boiseastro.org.
