Please join the Popular Astronomy Club at the Moline Public Library for an afternoon of Astronomy. Telescopes, Meteorites, Moon Rocks and other items on loan from NASA will be on Display. Star Lab Indoor Planetarium Shows, Demonstrations including Comet Making, and Solar Observing (weather permitting) will be offered. At 3:00 pm a special program “The Coolest Things in Astronomy” will be presented. Children’s Crafts, Door Prizes, and Refreshments will be available. Please join us for this free and family friendly event sponsored by the award winning Popular Astronomy Club!

7:00 pm – 11:30 pm  Niabi Zoo Parking Lot   Star Party 

Please join the Popular Astronomy Club at the Niabi Zoo Parking Lot after sunset for a tour of the Spring night sky.  We will look for Venus, Jupiter, the Beehive Cluster, Eskimo Nebula, and the Christmas Tree Cluster along with other objects.
