“Watch the sky!” and “Look up!” are two of many slogans you will hear at the first annual ‘Astronomy Day Bash’ in celebration of National Astronomy Day on May 10th at the Historic Old Town Hall in the Village of Metamora from noon-10:00pm.  Super Science Investigators have teamed with the members of the Metamora Historical Society to bring families and other groups of sky lovers together to show you how much fun astronomy can be.  “At Super Science Investigators, we believe an exciting educational experience can change a child’s life,” stated Dr. Jeffery Driscoll, Professional Chemist.  “I discovered astronomy on a second grade field trip, under the dark skies of a planetarium, and it changed my life.”
