Please join the Popular Astronomy Club  at the Moline Public Library for Astronomy Day 2014 from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm.  We are planning on Star lab indoor planetarium shows, displays including items on loan from NASA, demonstrations, speakers, and solar observing (weather permitting).   Children’s crafts, door prizes, and refreshments will be available at our free, educational, and family friendly event.  After dusk, join us at the Niabi Zoo parking lot for a tour of the Spring night sky (weather permitting).  Our mobile observatory and Club telescopes will be available.
