Astronomy in the Park

Stockton Astronomical Society volunteers will set up our telescopes at Oak Grove Regional Park

If the skies are clear, The Stockton Astronomical Society volunteers will set up their telescopes for public viewing at Oak Grove Regional Park on Saturday, Oct. 8. Sunset is at 6:30 p.m.
Venus will be visible just after sunset, Mars and Saturn will be on display, as will our own Moon. Also few Globular Clusters, (big balls of stars) and if it the skies are clear enough we will be able to see a few Nebulae as well.
The Nature Center will be open at 6:30 pm
